Yes. Every tool is free with no page limits, no daily quota, and no account. The work happens on your own device rather than on hardware we rent, so serving a tool costs us roughly what serving a page costs — there is no per-file bill to pass on to you.
How can conversion work without uploading my file?
Modern browsers can run compiled code at close to native speed through WebAssembly. PDFLove ships the PDF engine to your browser instead of shipping your document to a server, so the processing happens locally on your own machine.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no limit we impose. The practical ceiling is your device's memory — a few hundred megabytes is comfortable on a modern laptop, while an older phone will struggle sooner. If a large file fails, splitting it first usually solves it.
Do I need to install anything?
No. PDFLove runs in any current browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. There is nothing to download and no extension to add.
Do you keep my documents?
We never receive them. Files are read into your browser's memory, processed there, and discarded when you close the tab. No copy is transmitted at any point.
